In 2017, we granted 18 scholarships worth $20,000 to help students get off on the right foot as they head off to colleges and universities around the country. You can help by sponsoring our events or donating to our Legacy Fund. Contact Donn Clickard for more information.
As a part of our efforts to provide for the futures of our community youth, the Atascadero Greyhound Foundation developed the Legacy Fund. The Legacy Fund provides for scholarships for students in the Atascadero and Templeton school districts, and for years has given funds to graduating high school students as they begin their college educations. We are very proud of our students, and the work we have been able to do with the fund.
This is an area that really has no limit to what we can accomplish. The Legacy Fund is provided through generous donations by those who see what a great service this provides young students. Costs of college and university education continue to rise, and for those students that have put in the work to earn these scholarships, every little bit helps. The Atascadero Greyhound Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductible.
